Dear Colleagues, Seniors and Honourable Dignitaries, In recent years, we witnessed a significant increase of concern among the peoples of rural Bengal, for better connectivity issues and better roads. However the Contractual Assistant Engineers and Junior Engineers of WBSRDA under P&RD Department who remained the pillars of success under this Rural Infrastructure Development Programme have remained deprived for long from their long standing demands. This year 2020-2021 also witnessed successive Lockdowns for the Covid-19 pandemic, and its effect on the economy. There is urgent need for bolstering the morale of these Engineers.
I would like to end by expressing my best wishes for this meeting and I await your goodwill gesture.
With desire that our demands are met and our energies rejuvenated, we all are looking forward for this prosperous new year.
Thank you
